Little Rebel Before and
After @ BbarCPonies |

 |
| Little
Rebel is a pony that we found walking down our road .. We
immediately noticed his feet and how poorly he had been kept.. After
walking down the dirt road for awhile, we finally found his owner
and offered to purchase him.. After a couple of days the owner
appeared at my front door and we made the deal.. I couldn't wait to
get him home and start the rehab process.. My vet and farrier
showed up the next day to let me know what I was in for. He was in
fair condition with his health but needed his shots and worming
started and the first of many hoof trims. In no time at all I swear
he was trotting across my pasture with a smile on his face.. After a
few months of feet trimming and lots of love he became one of my
favorite ponies.. His personality shined every time we asked
anything of him. He loved to run up and visit any person that showed
up at the ranch.. Soon he was going out on trail rides with the rest
of the ponies and loving every minute of the attention he was
getting. This pony not only was broke to ride but he loved to go out
with the kids on trail. He was a little pro on the trail and found
that swimming was one of his favorite past times. The day came
where he was rehabilitated and ready to find his new home. Little
Rebel is sadly missed but knowing the home he went too Im sure he is
loving his new life. Above are the photos of him the day after we
brought him home and the after photos are the month he left to meet
his new family. |

Before and After

|
| Once
in a while we like to buy a prospect to train and work on as a project.
When Christy brought Magic home and I saw what she had bought.......I was
not too impressed and was pretty skeptical at what I saw. However, Christy
convinced me that this pony would make a GREAT english prospect and talked
me into letting her stay. About the only thing she had going for her at
the time was the way she moved. She was wormy, skinny, hairy and had a
timid grumpy attitude. I have fed lots of grumpy wormy ponies into
beautiful happy ponies.......so I figured this one might have a chance. We
had our little trainer Shandra ride Magic for a few months putting all the
english training and trail riding on her that she could. Within a few
months Magic Transformed into a beautiful show pony that Shandra showed
for us placing in the top 3 at her first show against horses and adults!
Magic loved it, and it showed. She is now in a lesson program where little
beginner kids are learning to ride english and jump on her. There is a
happy ending to this story for another one of B-C pony projects!!! |
